Miniature model steam train rides through the engine shed, puppets, magic, face painting and many more at Haverthwaite keep the children amused, as well as a fun filled goody bag, all included in your ticket. RAFFLE WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

The Broughton Information Centre 2009 Raffle Winners have been announced!

Due to inclement weather on Sunday 20th December we were unable to draw the raffle on the designated date and time. The raffle was drawn at the centre on the 21st December at 10.45am. Independent witnesses were present.

The 1st Prize  - a 3 /4 night self catering holiday at Seathwaite Lodge Cottage was won by Mr Frank Wearing (ticket number 01024).
The 2nd Prize - a 3 /4 night self catering holiday at Ringhouse Cottage was won by Tony Spray (ticket number 00252).
The 3rd Prize -  a 3 /4 night self catering holiday at The Dower House was won by John Elliott (ticket number 00645).
The 4th Prize  -  a Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway Family Ticket for 2 adults and 2 children was won by Janice Nightingale (ticket number 00248).
The 5th Prize  - a Muncaster Castle Family Ticket for 2 adults and 2 children was won by Alex Denham (ticket number 00177).
The 6th Prize - an Aquarium of the Lakes Family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children was won by Olive Postlethwaite (ticket number 00022).

Thanks to all who bought a ticket and helped support the information centre.
