Meet fourth Tuesday in evey month at Seathwaite Parish Room (except December) 

VICTORY HALL FILM CLUB
Performances commence at 7.30 p.m. in the Victory Hall (doors open from 7.00 p.m).
Tickets per showing can be purchased by MEMBERS ONLY for themselves and guests from the Information Centre, Broughton Square. 
Visitors to the area are welcome to purchase tickets under temporary membership.

JOIN THOMAS AND FRIENDS FOR AN EXCITING FUN PACKED WEEKEND - 20 & 21 MARCH 2010
Arrive at Haverthwaite or Lakeside, and purchase your all inclusive ticket, which entitles you to unlimited travel on Daisy and Bulgy the bus. Thomas stories come to life in Haverthwaite yard, under the watchful eye of Sir Topham Hat and the local Constable. Miniature model steam train rides through the engine shed, puppets, magic, face painting and many more at Haverthwaite keep the children amused, as well as a fun filled goody bag, all included in your ticket. CONISTON COUNTRY FAIR - SUNDAY 18 JULY 2010 - STARTS AT NOON - ADMISSION £5
Offering the family/visitor a chance to experience a traditional country fair. The fair takes place in the unique lakeside setting of Coniston Hall against the magnificent backdrop of Coniston Old Man and is a prime attraction to thousands of visitors and locals alike. The fair incloudes: RAF helicopter display, Herdwick sheep show, Craft marquee, Ferret racing/show, Gun dog demo/scurry, Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling, Refreshments, Beer tent, 40 trade stands, sideshows and much more.... Also including:

CONISTON COUNTRY FAIR CLASSIC OLD MAN FELL RACE
6 miles/2400 feet elevation, approximate start at 2pm. Free race entry on the day (runners pay country fair entry). Race starts from Coniston Hall (GR303963) on the shores of Lake Coniston to the top of the Old Man and back, a race which dates back to 1978.
